Bear Hybrid - Character Design
Thought it was time I share this one. This is the work test I made for Beffio, the task was to create an animal hybrid by combining two different animals and design an outfit with a jetpack inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy. I chose to combine a brown bear with a lynx, and this is the whole process and the result!

First sketches, here I'm exploring different body shapes and trying to figure out the anatomy.
Some other explorations with the animal on all fours.
The big fluffy one was the one I chose, and here I'm exploring different color schemes.
The task here was to create an outfit that resembled a mechanic in space, and here are the first sketches I made. I also included a small explaination for the jetpack and how it functions.

Final result, I chose the mechanical arm design, along with material callouts and flat colors. I also made the mechanical arms and the jet pack in Blender.
